Rodney is one of the founding partners of the law firm of Cashe Lewis Coudrain & Sandage. His litigation and trial experience span over 36 years with emphasis in general civil, trial practice, personally injury, plaintiff and defense, wills and estates, real estate and family law. He has represented both individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of civil matters from family law to complex commercial litigation.
In connection with his business practice, Rodney has represented both sellers and purchasers in the negotiation and execution of complex agreements to buy and sell, through the sale or purchase of assets or stock transactions.
In connection with his real estate background, Rodney’s law firm formed “Magnolia Street Title, LLC”, and he serves as its president, dealing with many real estate matters extending from residential to large commercial transactions.
Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience
In the last several years, Rodney has successfully mediated dozens of cases involving a myriad of issues including workers’ compensation, domestic matters, successions and donations, partition of co-owned or community assets, contract disputes, and personal injury, including multi-million dollar asbestos litigation. Rodney brings to the mediation process his experience, formal mediation training, and reputation for professionalism, competence and recognition of salient issues to be resolved.

Rodney has served the Hammond community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Hammond Chamber of Commerce, Southeastern Louisiana University Development Foundation, the Downtown Development District and as President of the Hammond Exchange Club. He is currently a board member of the Hammond-Tangipahoa Home Mortgage Authority.
Professionally, Rodney has held every office of the 21st Judicial District Bar Association comprising attorneys from Tangipahoa, Livingston and St. Helena Parishes, serving as its President in 1980-1982. He has also represented the 21st Judicial District as delegate to the Louisiana Bar Association. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the 21st Judicial District Indigent Defender Board. He is an active member of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association and the Louisiana Bankers Association/Bank Counsel Section. Rodney is also a Fellow of the Louisiana Bar Association and a founding member of the 21st Judicial District Inns of Court.
