E. Pete Adams currently serves as the Executive Director of the Louisiana District Attorneys Association, a not-for-profit corporation, and as Director of the Louisiana District Attorneys Retirement System. Pete currently manages a staff of 22 people, including 3 attorneys and an annual budget of over $2 million. He also directs a variety of projects including professional training; implementation of automated case management systems: and liaison with administrative, legislative and judicial agencies.

Pete has been a consultant to the President’s Commission on Model State Drug Laws and serves on many State and national boards and commissions. He is a past president of the National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators; the Louisiana Society of Association Executives; and the Louisiana Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems. He is currently a member of the Board of Regents for the National College of District Attorneys and the National Advocacy Center. Pete has represented Louisiana prosecutors in the Legislature since 1975. He has also worked in more than a dozen states as a consultant to non-profit organizations. Pete is also a member of the Federal 5th Circuit Bar.
